Other commonly asked questions
Many people that we've had the pleasure of working with have told us that they thought it was impossible to seal brick pavers without them turning white or becoming slippery... Some people even thought that the sealer had to be 'stripped' every couple of years in order to 're-seal' the pavers.
This is not true when your brick pavers are sealed correctly.

Brick Paver Cleaning and Sealing:
Why have my brick pavers turned white?
Brick Pavers appear to turn white or become milky looking because of trapped moisture under the old coat of sealer. This is common with xylene or solvent based sealers. Our water based sealers allow the pavers to breathe, eliminating the chance of this happening.
Do I need to replace the sand around my pavers?
In some cases yes. Re Sanding is not always necessary though. The sand should be at least 1/8 inch below the chamfer edge of the brick. Our sealing does a great job of locking in the sand so that it does not easily wash out.
How long should I wait before sealing my new pavers?
Typically 60-90 days. The main reason to wait is so that efflorescence can work its way to the surface and be cleaned off. The more the pavers get wet, the quicker this happens. For this reason, the amount of time to wait may vary depending on what time of the year it is.
How long do I have to stay off my pavers after they are sealed?
Vehicles must stay off the sealed areas for 48 hours minimum. Foot traffic is generally ok after 3-4 hours.

Driveway Cleaning and Sealing:
Why should I seal my driveway?
Sealing your driveway is important to protect it from staining from such things as vehicles, birds, fertilizers, and water runoff. Not to mention that it "Looks Great."
Do you do anything to keep vehicles off my driveway while it is drying?
Yes, we put up caution tape at the end of the driveway. You may remove the tape after the 48 hours have elapsed.

Pool Deck Cleaning and Sealing:
Will sealer or dirt get into my pool when I get my pool deck sealed?
We keep dirt to a minimum. We use industry specific equipment that prevents excessive amounts of dirt from getting into the pool. We are very cautious when working around your pool. You can expect some loose dirt or sand to get into the pool but we do our best to minimize this. As far as sealer goes, we do all coping by hand so that very little sealer gets into the pool. Any sealer that may drip will NOT do any harm to your pool equipment.
How long will it take before I can safely use my pool deck after the sealing process is complete?
You can safely put your furniture back and swim in your pool the following day.
