Paver Cleaning and Sealing in Cape Coral, FL

Cape Coral has more miles of canals than any other city in the world. Over 400 miles of waterways wind through almost every neighborhood — which means almost every paver surface in this city is affected by water table movement, salt air, and canal humidity in a way that’s unique to Cape Coral.
We’ve been servicing Cape Coral properties since 2011. The pavers here need more frequent attention than most Southwest Florida markets — and they need someone who understands why. A generic clean-and-seal crew that doesn’t account for canal exposure, shifting sandy soil, and the specific algae strains that thrive in this microclimate will leave you resealing every year instead of every two to three.
Pro Tip:
Canal-front properties in Cape Coral need resealing every 2 years, not 3. Salt air and tidal humidity break down sealer faster than any other condition we work around. Don’t use the 3-year rule if your driveway or pool deck faces water.

Why Cape Coral Pavers Are Different

Four specific conditions make Cape Coral harder on pavers than almost anywhere in Lee County:

Why us?

Our Cape Coral Paver Cleaning and Sealing Process

Important:
If you have pavers near a seawall or boat dock, tell us before we schedule. Those surfaces require extra base assessment before sealing. Sealing over a base that’s actively moving from boat wake or tidal action means the seal won’t last — and we’d rather do the job right.

Yet again, I continue to be very pleased with the Paver Protectors! These folks are my go to for anything related to paver/sidewalk cleaning and/or sealing. I have been using them for 6-7 years now and couldn’t be more satisfied. Adam C. was today’s technician and he was great! I would highly recommend Jeff and his team at Paver Protectors to anyone needing their pavers or sidewalks cleaned/sealed. 5 star service every time!

Thanks,

These guys did a terrific job! They had to level our pavers and so they had to lift all the pavers around the pool, add sand and then put all the pavers back down. They also replaced our 2 inch drain with a 3 inch drain which was a tough job to do! They arrived on time at 8:30 and were finished by 5pm.
They did such a good job that we have scheduled them to power wash and seal both our lanai and our driveway!
Thanks Larry and Dennis!

Alissa was very pleasant and helpful in arranging the cleaning and sealing of our patio pavers. She clearly answered questions and promptly prepared an estimate for me. Similarly, Junior was great to deal with at our home. He explained the process to me and discussed the timeline on when to use the patio after treatment. He took care in the cleaning of the pavers and application of sealer. He also checked if I had any questions. Our patio now looks refreshed with the more vibrant colours that previously looked faded. I am very pleased with the total experience with Paver Protectirs and would highly recommend them!

Definitely HIGHLY RECOMMEND! They don’t just clean and seal pavers, they do concrete too!

Thank you Paver Protectors

Frequently Asked Questions — Paver Sealing in Cape Coral

More salt air, higher humidity, and ground movement from tidal water table fluctuation. Canal-front pavers develop algae faster, lose joint sand more quickly, and shift more than inland properties. We factor all of that into every job in Cape Coral.
Every 2 years for canal-front properties. Every 2-3 years for properties set back from water. Don’t wait until the pavers look bad — by then the joints are already compromised.
Canal humidity and reduced airflow around waterfront lots accelerates algae growth dramatically. Once sealer wears off, algae establishes within one rainy season here. The right clean and reseal stops it.

Yes. We assess the base condition carefully first — dock and seawall-adjacent pavers often have base movement from boat wake. We don’t seal over an unstable base.

Yes, significantly — when we refill the joints with polymeric sand before sealing. The hardened sand creates a barrier that dramatically reduces both weed growth and fire ant intrusion through the joints.

A few hundred for a small patio to over a thousand for a full driveway and pool deck. Canal-front jobs may cost slightly more due to extra base assessment. Free quotes — (239) 288-0705.
